SENIOR SCIENTIST – SYNTHETIC BIOLOGY
This is a newly created, full time, permanent role based at Neobe’s laboratory within the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst, in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
About us:
Following a significant milestone in our ambitious and exciting growth plans, achieving a successful seed round of over $2m, we are ready to grow our team to advance our pioneering work in immuno-oncology.
Neobe Therapeutics is an innovation-driven Biopharmaceutical start-up developing the next generation of therapeutics in Oncology. At Neobe we are engineering safe strains of tumour colonising bacteria to locally remove stromal barriers to infiltration in immune excluded tumours. Bacteria have been shown to colonise, proliferate and deliver payloads to tumours, making them the ideal candidate for this approach. We are designing them to respond to the local tumour physiological conditions to ensure localised delivery of a stromal remodelling payload.
