Deeptech from scratch podcast - Pedro Correa de Sampaio
Neobe’s co-founder and CEO Pedro Correa de Sampaio recently participated in the Deep Science Ventures podcast “Deeptech from scratch”, a show dedicated to exploring deep technology and scientific innovation.
Neobe was originally created as part of a Deep Science Ventures (DSV) venture creation exercise, and here Pedro joins Kerstin Papenfuss, Director of Pharma at DSV, to discuss Neobe’s journey from a shipping container back in 2021 to its current plans to enter the clinic within the next two years. Pedro and Kerstin discuss everything from manatees to how the walls that make a solid tumour solid remain the ultimate barrier to curative responses in oncology, and how the answer to break them down is Neobe’s engineered microbial vector technology. The episode also delves deeper into key challenges the team had overcome to get here and the potential impact Neobe’s technology can have in transforming cancer therapies.
