Neobe Therapeutics, a synthetic biology biotech startup engineering live biotherapeutics to unlock curative responses in cancer patients, is proud to announce its participation in the CPI-led Biomanufacturing and Pharma SME Delegation to India in February 2026.
As part of the delegation, Pedro Correa de Sampaio, Neobe’s CEO, engaged in meetings and discussions with industry partners, manufacturers and ecosystem leaders to explore opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and international growth. The week-long programme provided insights into India’s rapidly expanding innovation ecosystem in advanced therapies, bioprocess development and bio-manufacturing.
Notable events included the ChemTech Expo 2026, where all delegation SMEs including Neobe were able to pitch their technology during the Bio and Pharma Manufacturing Day @SCALE, followed by the Main Biotech Day featuring panel sessions and networking. Site-based meetings at IKP and CDFD, leading science parks in Hyderabad featured breakouts on manufacturing, investment and a roundtable on collaboration.
“Participating in the CPI-led UK-India Biomanufacturing & Pharma Delegation was a significant opportunity for Neobe to deepen international collaboration and explore pathways for scaling our innovation, all while establishing strong relationships with industry peers.” said Pedro Correa de Sampaio, PhD, co-founder and CEO of Neobe Therapeutics. “We look forward to how these newly forged partnerships can be implemented into our strategy whilst working towards our goal of harnessing synthetic biology to improve cancer therapies.”
